Sheep wool of Karakylska, Saradginska and Romanovska breeds

Coarse-wooled sheep rearing is the field of animal industry engaged in sheep rearing with not uniform coarse wool. The main productivity courses: meat and wool - kuchugury, michnovy, cherkassky breeds; meat and fat - gissayr, edilbaevy and other breeds, meat wool and milk tushiny, balbass, karabahsky, karachev, dagestan and other Trans-Caucasian and North-Caucasian breeds. In some North-European countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Nederland and Finland) the coarse wooled sheep are reared mainly for meat and sheep pelt. In the countries of hot climate (India, Algeria, Tunis, Iraq) fat-rumped and broad-tailed sheep for meat and wool are predominantly reared. Karakul sheep rearing is developed in Iran, Afghanistan, South-Western Africa and some other European countries. 

The wool of coarse-wooled sheep is used for the production of rough woolens, carpets, milled and knitted products and felted fabric. The lamb pelts of fur breeds are used in collars, hats and       

manteau manufacturing. Fur coats and short fur coats are made from sheep pelts.
